Description of Work
The responsibility of this position is to write specifications and provide drawings as necessary on all major projects. Due to the nature of the maintenance work here plans are frequently changed to meet emergency needs or because of short notice priority changes. This position requires inspections of all buildings and grounds on a six - month basis looking for needed maintenance items. Work schedules are made from these inspections and work orders. carpentry frame/trim work paint and sheetrock plastering masonry concrete ceramic & terrazzo tile.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Recruitment Range: $32460 - $56806
Salary Range: $35596 - $62294

- Considerable knowledge of the principles and concepts of the plaster carpenter concrete & masonry trade
- Ability to use of all hand tools and machines to complete assignments.
- Ability to read drawings sketches and blueprints to make accurate mathematical calculations.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and the physical strength to perform heavy tasks.
This Position Is Exempt And Is EXEMPT From Certain Provisions Of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126)
This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

Minimum Education and Experience
