An AmLaw 100 law firm is looking to add an associate to its Labor & Employment Litigation team in Seattle.
If you enjoy employment law but want a mix of hands-on litigation and client-facing advisory work this is a great opportunity to join a growing team that handles both complex disputes and day-to-day counseling.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll be working on a range of labor and employment matters including both class actions and single-plaintiff cases as well as administrative charges. The role includes drafting motions managing discovery preparing for depositions and mediations and helping take matters through arbitration or trial.
Depending on your experience youll also have the opportunity to work directly with HR teams and business leadersadvising on compliance issues helping prevent disputes before they arise and drafting employment-related agreements.
What Theyre Looking For
- 25 years of labor & employment litigation experience
- Experience with class actions single-plaintiff cases or administrative charges
- Strong research writing and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters
- Interest in client interaction and advisory work
- Strong academic credentials
- Admitted in Washington or eligible to waive in
