Job Summary
Synechron is looking for a Java Backend Developer to design develop and deliver scalable backend solutions for enterprise and digital transformation programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong Java expertise experience with modern backend frameworks and the ability to work in Agile fastpaced client delivery environments.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build highquality resilient and performancedriven backend systems that support missioncritical business applications primarily in BFSI and enterprise domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java
- Build scalable and highperformance applications using modern Java frameworks
- Contribute to endtoend backend development across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Collaborate with architects frontend developers QA and DevOps teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Perform code reviews ensure adherence to coding standards and drive best practices
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize applications for performance security and scalability
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning estimations reviews and retrospectives
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and continuously improve engineering practices
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Core Java
- Hands-on experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices
- Good understanding of database concepts (RDBMS/NoSQL preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Experience working with version control systems (Git or equivalent)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 7 years of relevant experience in Java backend development
- Experience working on enterprise or client-facing applications preferred
