Help Us Launch One of Carlsons Newest Projects from Day One

The Role

If so Carlson Construction Group is ready to welcome aContract Specialistto support one of ournewest projects launching in North Vancouver. Were looking for atrue selfstartersomeone whos energized by joining abrandnew project setting up processes and procedures from scratch and becoming the goto commercial support for the project team.

This is your opportunity to be on the ground floor of something exciting. Youll help shape how the site operates support the project team through key commercial decisions and keep all contractual wheels turning behind the scenes.

What Youll Be Doing

Contractual Support

• Review and interpret a wide range of agreementsfrom equipment rentals to NDAs to major procurement contracts.
• Identify risks early and guide the team through commercial decisions.
• Strengthen contract templates and draft clear concise language.
• Support negotiations disputes and commercial challenges with confidence.

Tender & Project Monitoring

• Track all tender opportunities and ensure deadlines never sneak up.
• Maintain detailed logs for awarded and pending projects including milestones and key dates.

Document Management

• Keep all commercial documents organized compliant and easy to find.
• Maintain auditready files and strong version control.

Insurance & Bonding Administration

• Coordinate insurance and bonding requirements for new projects.
• Manage renewals and ensure all certifications are in place.

Administrative & Stakeholder Support

• Draft and review commercial documents.
• Support communication and coordination during negotiations and contract execution.
• Prepare clear reports and updates for leadership.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Monitor compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.
• Flag risks early and recommend solutions.

Process Optimization

• Help build and refine commercial workflows for this new project site.
• Make templates documentation and procedures more consistent and userfriendly.

Who You Are

Youre the person people trust with the details. Youre organized proactive and unafraid to take ownershipespecially on a project thats starting from the ground up.

You bring:

• 5 years of contract administration experience ideally in construction
• Knowledge ofCCDC CCA and consultant/service agreements
• Strong understanding ofcontractual terms insurance and bonding
• Excellent communication writing and negotiation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment with competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization
• Collaborative mindset and strong relationshipbuilding skills
• Strategic thinker who follows through and solves problems proactively
