Position Details:

As part of the Autism Clinical Center team you will report to the Associate Director Autism Center. You will provide direct clinical services through a combination of center-based in-home and in-community delivery. You will work as part of a diverse clinical team dedicated to providing evidence-based intervention to children adolescents and young adults on the autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental conditions. You will work with patients families and teachers to complete clinical assessments and use assessment data to develop implement and track progress on behavioral plans. This is an exempt full-time hybrid position. This position requires a minimum of four (4) days per week in the office on a schedule determined by your supervisor. The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.


You Will:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans for children and adolescents with autism spectrum or related neurodevelopmental disorders.

  • Use assessment data including Functional Behavioral Assessment using direct and indirect measures of behavior to identify target behaviors for intervention develop behavioral plans and track progress towards established goals

  • Use naturalistic approaches of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to evaluate develop treatment plans and implement 1:1 therapy for toddlers through young adults on the autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental conditions.

  • Run groups using evidenced based manualized interventions (e.g. PEERS Childrens Friendship Training).

  • Provide direct services in the clinic community childs home and school.

  • Use assessment data to define target behaviors develop behavioral plans and track progress towards established goals.

  • Coordinate behavior plans at regular intervals to ensure that patients and families achieve desired results.

  • Collaborate with our clinical colleagues including receiving and providing consultation to support team-based care within our practice. Ensure all clinical documentation requirements are met.

  • Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.


You Have:

  • Masters degree in psychology behavior analysis education or related field required. Masters degree in early childhood or special education preferred.

  • 2 years experience as a BCBA in either clinical special education or early intervention settings.

  • Certification and licensure: BCBA certification from BACB and LBA from New York State required.

  • Training in naturalistic forms of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) or clinical experience in one or more of the following required: Incidental Teaching (IT) Natural Environmental Training (NET) Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) SCERTS JASPER Project ImPACT or Pivotal Response Training (PRT).

Pay Range

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidates work experience education/training job-related skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this addition this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role) if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
