Job Summary
Provides occupational therapy services to patients ranging from the very young (newborn) to adolescent who may have physical medical and/or psychological disorders and who may be receiving services on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Responsible for providing patient treatments/services according to a plan of care established by a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR). Works with patients on an individual basis using current technology treatment techniques and modalities consistent with department and hospital policies and procedures. Responsible for assisting OTRs in developing and facilitating specialized treatment programs as appropriate to meet patient needs.
Schedule:
- Part-time 48 hours every two weeks
- Days Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6pm and Fridays 7:30-4:30pm 8-hour shifts
- No weekends or holidays!
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $21.54 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range:$21.54 - $32.31 per hour

Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant curriculum and successful completion of clinical field work. New or upcoming graduates welcome to apply!
- Must have entry level skills and knowledge in the provision of occupation therapy services with clinical field work completed in an acute care or sub-acute care setting.
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant by the NBCOT required or obtained within 6 months.
- Occupational Therapy Assistant Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant through the State of Minnesota required orTemporary OTA permit required with Occupational Therapy Assistant license obtained within 90 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
