What does theAccountManagerdo
As an Account Manager you manage an assigned portfolio of personallinesclients primarily auto home and travel insurance. You oversee an existing book of business and ensure every client interaction reinforces trust accuracy and value. This role is primarilyfocused on service and retention centered on delivering exceptional client this role you will:
- Build andmaintainlong-term client relationships that strengthen retention.
- Conduct detailed coverage reviews to assess risk and evolving insurance needs.
- Recommendappropriate insurancesolutions with clarity and transparency.
- Manage policy renewals proactively ensuring coverageremainsaccurateand competitive.
- Prepare and present quotes to support informed client decisions.
- Guide clients through the claims process with professionalism and empathy.
- Identifycross-coverage opportunities that enhance client protection.
- Maintain organizedaccuratedocumentation to support compliance and operational integrity.
- Collaborate with your Team Lead and colleagues to improve client outcomes.
- Stay current on market trends underwriting changes and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum1 year of experiencein the insurance industry.
- RIBO license.
- Experience with broker management systems(e.g. Power Broker).
- Post-secondaryeducationin insurance business or relatedfieldis an asset.
