Job Summary
We are seeking a mid-level engineer to join our fast paced engineering group. The role will be based in Gainesville Texas just outside the DFW Metroplex. You will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of roles including R&D manufacturing testing project management and field support for our diverse oil and gas equipment product line.
Responsibilities
- Create new electrical mechanical and hydraulic designs under supervision of senior engineering staff.
- Liaison with manufacturing group to continually implement design for manufacture principles.
- Prepare project proposals and cost estimations for customers.
- Provide leadership and project management skills with a cradle to grave mentality.
- Develop BOMs and production schedules for new projects.
- Provide troubleshooting and support to customers and other departments.
- Develop equipment testing and operational documentation.
- Interface with vendors and assist with supply chain management tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Technology Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree.
- 5-10 years work experience.
Required Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in Solidworks 3d CAD.
- Design experience with hydraulic and electromechanical systems.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach to problem solving with a strong work ethic.
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to develop productive professional relationships across different departments to facilitate project success.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with supply chain management.
- ASME design and manufacturing processes
