Job Description

Job Title: UAT Test Analyst (Child Support Modernization)
Location: Hartford CT (Hybrid local candidates preferred)

Position Summary

The client is seeking two experienced UAT Test Analysts to support the Child Support Modernization initiative. The role focuses on executing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure the system meets business operational and federal requirements.

This role requires hands-on experience specifically in Child Support modernization projects (not Child Care or Child Welfare systems).

Key Responsibilities

Execute and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across Child Support modules
Collaborate with business SMEs to develop test scenarios and test cases
Execute test cases document results and log defects
Participate in defect triage retesting and validation of fixes
Validate system functionality against Child Support policies workflows and federal regulations
Provide daily status updates and support UAT cycle closeout
Assist with statewide rollout testing and post-go-live stabilization

Mandatory Requirements

Proven experience supporting UAT for Child Support Modernization implementations
Strong knowledge of Child Support programs including policies workflows and case management
Ability to comply with state policies and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Child Support program staff and business SMEs
Familiarity with federal OCSE requirements and reporting
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira Xray ALM)
Experience supporting large-scale multi-vendor government implementations
