Summary

As an Advanced Practice Provider with the General Surgery team your practice includes but is not limited to:

• Comprehensive health care assessment diagnosis initiation of appropriate care and treatment
• Continuous outcome monitoring of the general surgery patient population.
• Follow established protocols and collaborate with physicians
• Work independently in health care decisions.

• Establish a philosophy of patient and family-centered care in all patient care practices

• Primary focus of this role will be inpatient care with limited OR expectations

Schedule

• Work 7 days on and 7 days off (7am-5pm on the days worked)

• Rotating Holidays

• Compensated as a 1.0

Pay and Benefits

• Salary range:$118913.60 - $153795.20 per year

  • Pay may be determined by factors such as education experience skills knowledge location and internal equity

  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

  • May be eligible for additional pay through bonuses quality incentives or production-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

• Eligibility for Minnesota licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• CPR certification is required
• Must be able to treat all ages

Preferred:

• Surgical experience preferred

• Previous experience as an Advanced Practice Provider is preferred but not required

• Thoracic surgery
• Pediatric hernias
• Endoscopy sigmoidoscopy colonoscopy
• Hemorrhoid anal fistula anal fissure surgery
• Melanoma surgery
• Excision of skin cancers moles cysts fatty tumors skin tags
• Removal of foreign bodies (example: splinters)
