Were on the lookout for experienced Shift Coordinators tohelp launch our first Texas shops create unforgettable guest experiences and support Scoopers in delivering legendary hospitality. Youll play a key role inbringing Salt & Straw to a new community coaching team members and making every guest interaction memorable.

What Shift Coordinators Do

Shift Coordinators keep the shop running smoothly bysupporting people operations and guest experience.

You will:

• Guide Scoopers throughout the shift delegating tasks and ensuring breaks station rotations and safety habits are followed

• Support daily operations: scooping waffling running the register dishwashing cleaning and hosting

• Deliver exceptional service thoughtfully resolving guest concerns

• Coordinate opening closing and daily shop tasks tomaintainoperational excellence

• Assistin training coaching and modeling best practices for team members

• Pack Third-Party Delivery orders with accuracy and attention to quality

• Conduct inventory countsmonitorproduct quality andmaintainfood safety standards

• Handle daily cash transactions accurately and follow cash handling protocols

• Track team feedback and operational notes in daily logbooks

• Taste and learn our flavors to confidently share with guests

Pay: $17/hr base pay pooled tips which typically average $8$9/hr
(Based on historical shop performanceactual tips may vary)

This Role Might Be Right If You:

• Have a high school diploma/GED

• Bring 6 months (1 year preferred) of food service fast-casual or hospitality experience

• Are 18 and can work evenings weekends and holidays

• Have a valid food handlers card (or can get one within 30 days)

• Can coach motivate and support team members with clarity and care

• Thrive in a fast-paced hands-on environment

• Love delivering outstanding guest experiences and sharing our flavors
