Personal Lines & Commercial Lines Agent & Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines & Commercial Lines Agent & Account Manager to join a team. Initially your primary responsibility will be servicing and managing the existing book of business with opportunities to grow the portfolio in the future. This position requires a collaborative teachable and team-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $50000 - $70000 (commensurate with experience) bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an existing $2M book of business including accounts ranging from $1K to $40K
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients ensuring their needs are met and inquiries are resolved promptly
• Collaborate with the team to achieve monthly performance goals and contribute to a positive work environment
• Assist with the transition and training process for the book of business ensuring a smooth handoff
• Handle a mix of personal lines and commercial lines accounts including contractors and construction clients
• Utilize AMS360 software for account management (training provided if necessary)

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in personal and/or commercial lines insurance
• Proven ability to manage and service a diverse book of business
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
• A teachable attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
• Familiarity with AMS360 is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work in-office five days a week initially with potential for hybrid flexibility after the onboarding period
