2026 Canon Insights Summer Internship
Canon U. S. A. Inc. is currently hiring for our 2026 Canon Insights Internship Program.
The program will be held from Monday June 1 2026 - Wednesday August 5 2026.
Canon is an innovative global digital imaging leader that uses technology to dissolve the barriers we
face in the connections we build the experiences we create and even the lives we live. We are
looking for passionate and experienced students to join the Canon USA team. This is a paid summer
internship 10-week robust experience based in our Melville New York Headquarters.
What Youll Do:
- You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant
work projects that help you learn develop business skills and provide a meaningful
contribution to Canons business and goals.
- You will be exposed to world-class teams and our business marketing and strategy initiatives
through training meetings presentations and other planned activities.
- Youll gain marketable skills and knowledge that youll need in transitioning into the workforce.
- Youll come to the office 3 days a week and 2 days with the option to work from home (unless
a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). This position
offers a hybrid work schedule on full-time (9 AM 5 PM) schedule based on a 35-hour work
week. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to
time based on business needs.

Your Impact
This program is designed to provide hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects training meetings presentations and activities.
The 2026 Canon Insights Summer Internship Legal Intern will play an integral role in supporting key departmental initiatives and will contribute to the following responsibilities:
- The Legal Intern will participate in handling various transactional matters which may include service agreements non-disclosure agreements event-related matters privacy matters advertising and marketing review and related agreements and matters and employment law matters.
- The Legal Intern will also participate in conducting legal research related to a variety of laws in areas such as advertising data security privacy and employment.
- The Legal Intern may also have the opportunity to work on some aspects of Litigation if the situation arises.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
A strong communicatorboth written and verbalwith advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail Calendar Sheets Docs Slides Chat and Drive). Brings the ability to thrive as a collaborative team player while also working independently with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Currently enrolled as a rising third-year law student
- Completion of a minimum of two years at a U.S. accredited law school
- Minimum GPA of 3.25 in both law school and undergraduate studies
- Academic transcripts may be requested
- Proficiency with legal research platforms including Westlaw and/or LexisNexis
- Familiarity with AIsupported legal tools
- Demonstrated legal writing experience
- Prior professional internship or relevant work experience
- Demonstrated interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Business and corporate law
- Advertising law
- Copyright and trademark law
- Contracts
- Data security and privacy
- Employment law
- Technology and innovation in legal practice
We are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $20 - $28 hourly/based on degree level.
