Overview

You will serve as a handson SRE within Post Trade Automation Technology improving the reliability and scalability of our Fixed Income Settlement systems. You will build the engineering solutions that strengthen our cloud footprint enhance automation and modernize both Fabricbased and legacy components. You will apply SRE principles to optimize performance reduce operational friction and deliver the resilient infrastructure our business depends on. This is a role where your engineering decisions directly shape the stability of critical production platforms

What Youll Do

• Develop and implement reliability availability and observability improvements across Fixed Income Settlement systems

• Define and maintain SLOs/SLIs and use them to guide engineering priorities and service quality

• Build resilience patterns (e.g. autoscaling circuit breakers retries) into application and infrastructure code

• Automate deployment monitoring and operational processes to reduce toil and improve MTTR

• Design and maintain Corporate Insurance (CI)/CD pipelines and automation frameworks supporting Fabricbased and legacy systems

• Architect and deliver scalable cloud solutions on GCP using Terraform Kubernetes and modern cloudnative practices

Skills Youll Need

• Strong programming/scripting skills in Java Python NodeJS/TypeScript or Shell

• Handson experience with GCP and Terraformbased infrastructureascode

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions GitLab Ansible UCD)

• Expertise in Docker Kubernetes (GKE) and Helm

• Strong understanding of distributed systems observability and cloudnative engineering

Skills That Will Help You Excel

• Experience with Azure or AWS

• Background in Fixed Income Securities Settlements or financial systems

• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problemsolving skills

• Effective communicator who collaborates well across engineering and business teams

• Proactive ownershipdriven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and mentoring

Expectations

It is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100000 to $153000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including but not limited to a candidates skill set experience education work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
