On-Call Front Desk Receptionist

Job Summary - On-Call Receptionist opening
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors and callers in a professional
and courteous manner as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the common area.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty
satisfactorily. The essential functions include the following:
⪠Greet visitors and receive callers in a professional and courteous manner.
⪠Open and close front desk Monday Friday.
⪠Answer and direct all incoming calls/voicemail and emails during business hours.
⪠Maintain and update the current department and phone list at front desk.
⪠Log visitors in and out; then notify appropriate party of the visitor(s) arrival through the proper
communication channel.
⪠Distribute incoming mail/packages received each day and process outgoing mail.
⪠Keep the front reception and seating area clean.
⪠Maintain updated documents in the reception area and ensure the reception area is neat and
orderly.

Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
⪠At least 1-year of relevant experience.
⪠Strong customer service skills.
⪠Basic computer skills; knowledge of major software programs (Word Outlook).
⪠Very well organized.
⪠Maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance with co-workers and the public.
⪠Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with competing deadlines in stressful environments.
⪠Ability to remain on task and follow through projects to their completion.
⪠Exhibit strong commitment to the organization and dedicated to the restoration of clients.
⪠Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges including mental
health and addiction.
⪠The ability to live and work by MnTCs culture of honor & core values practicing compassion
honor respect integrity servanthood and trust.
⪠At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances.
⪠Must be able to meet specific staff requirements outlined in Minnesota Statutes 245G.11.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
⪠Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
⪠Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.

Target Compensation (Negotiable based on qualifications):

$17.50 to $19.50 per hour based on experience
