Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the office lobby common areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points verify credentials as required by site policy and assist with visitor and employee entry procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with employees visitors and first responders and by completing incident reports activity logs and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
