JobSummary

The Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for the care and education of up to 20 children (ages 3-5 years). This collaborative leadership role ensures that all community members experience a safe clean and and service this role cultivates a strong sense of belonging for addition to fostering growth and strengthening community this role includes supervising care team members and ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements. This role reports directly to the Director of the Early Learning Center.

Responsibilities

Student&FamilySupport

• Communicateeffectivelywithstudentsfamiliesandcolleaguesadheringtoschoolprotocols.

• Supporttheorganizationscollaborativecultureï½helpingoutwhereandwhenneeded.

RequiredQualifications

• BachelorsdegreeorassociatesineducationpreferablywithEarlyLearningCertification (completed by August).
• ECEInitialCertificate(12hours)orhigher.
• CompletionofChildcareBasicsCourse(30hours).
• ActiveMERITaccountwithup-to-dateSTARSdocumentationandacommitmentto10STARS hours annually.
• PracticingCatholic.
• Minimumofthreeyears(threetofiveyearspreferred)ofteachingexperiencewithchildrenin early learning through third grade.
• Stronginterpersonalcommunicationorganizationalandtime-managementskills.

PreferredQualifications

• Currentandvalidteachingcertificatewithanendorsementinearlychildhoodeducationorearly childhood special education.
• EarlyLearningShortCertificate(20hours)fromanaccreditedinstitution.
• KnowledgeoftheCatechesisoftheGoodShepherd.
• Experienceinnature-basedlearningenvironments.
• FamiliaritywithGoogleWorkspaceandVeracross.

Compensation

HourlyRateRange:$25-35.00perhour.Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
