Position Summary:
The Engineering Department is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the on-site maintenance execution team. This role focuses on providing technical support across the site and offers an excellent opportunity to work with innovative equipment and systems.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for conducting first-line investigations and carrying out repairs in response to equipment or service failures across plant utilities production areas and office/support addition the role involves performing and coordinating preventative maintenance activities in accordance with the established maintenance schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all engineering safe systems of work and site safety procedures.
- Perform routine plant and environmental monitoring activities.
- Respond to alarms from the Building Management System (BMS) and equipment breakdowns calls.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on equipment and utilities including mechanical electrical and automation systems.
- Assist in the management and coordination of service providers and contractors.
- Coordinate maintenance access to production and laboratory equipment in collaboration with relevant site departments.
- Conduct equipment reliability analysis using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data.
- Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities.
- Perform engineering and technical investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Respond to and resolve facilities and utilities breakdowns.
- Undertake investigations as directed by the Supervisor or Manager.
- Complete quality-related deviation investigations in accordance with QA requirements.
- Investigate and troubleshoot electrical systems resolving issues in line with licensing and competency.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

- Internal: Engineering OPS QC and Warehouse team.
- External: Contractors.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in mechanical electrical or automation. Restricted electrical license is preferred.
Skills & Attributes
- 3 years working experience in pharmaceutical hospital or food processing industry.
- Proven record of ability to work as a team member.
- Experience in multitasking prioritizing and showing initiative to complete tasks according to company goals.
- A track record showing good oral and written communication skills.
