Job Summary

The Training Manager/TL is key member of the MAP Operations team at the Kalamazoo site. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing maintaining and executing a cGMP compliant training program and providing regular updates regarding the status of the program and its team members. Other responsibilities will be to assist the 1st shift Mgr/TL in the hiring onboarding and training of colleagues to build the MAP operations floor team from 4 to 35 colleagues by 2030.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
In this role you will: Develop and maintain defined Training offerings in compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) guidelines as well as federal state and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines including safety quality and environmental.
Developing the vision strategy and flexibility to be change agile for Training system for the MAP project.
Partner with operations and support teams to provide updates to operations SOPs / OJTs /Curricula.
Create and support prioritization of the Training systems for each key work centers and develop an implementation plan.
Managing operations related to all Training sources.
Key member of the PCT IMEx team focused on CI / TPM opportunities to support continued training improvement opportunities.
Work with technical support staff to trouble shoot technology issues and identify and implement process improvements.
Maintain working relationship with leadership and SMEs across all DP units to allow planned responses to training gaps as a way to support all of Drug Product training needs.
Support operations teams by being familiar with and having a working knowledge of all processes and equipment for the MAP facility.
Demonstrate integrity initiative judgment and accountability in day-to-day work activities in addition to strong planning/organizational skills.
Demonstrate technical skills required to support training design and documentation.
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a masters degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of experience; OR as associates degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
Proven ability to contribute to and lead project teams.
Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Experience in managing multiple projects and ongoing work activities.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements cGMPs and company policies.

Previous leadership experience.
Experience in providing technical leadership while working remotely.

Experience using common AI tools including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices includingrisk management and ethical use.
Previous experience leveraging Compliance and Training techniques including course design and continuous improvement programs.
Familiar with QTS functions SOP OJT and Curricula concepts and authoring.
Strong technical/mechanical skills and the ability to understand complex Aseptic operations and processes.
Ability to collaborate with off-site teams.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to change.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvements and implement programs and documents to a successful outcome.
Understanding the new AMPS EBR system.
Ability to create and maintain training plans materials curricula and lead training transformation/training efficiency projects.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Job will include standing walking and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required.
Grade C & D gowning training may be required.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
The position will be based on 1st shift with flexibility to support the off shifts as necessary. On occasion may need to come in early or stay late to meet and interact with colleagues on other shifts.
Job may also entail occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
The role will require little or no travel.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $106000.00 to $176600.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
