Compensation for Bachelors degree:$26.04 - $34.52

Compensation for Masters degree: $27.49 - $36.44

The final job offer is based on several factors (internal equity skills education experience and credentials).

Additional compensation: $2 weekend shift differential

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health substance abuse treatment coordination and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.

We are seeking an Access Center Clinician. This position provides crisis intervention screenings assessments and referral services for both adults and children. Activities may take place in a variety of settings and via face-to-face contact or telehealth (video or telephonic).

This position is scheduled every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Training may occur during the week as needed in-person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids Michigan 49503. This assignment will be remote following completion of training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR MASTERS

  • Masters degree in Social Work or Psychology Counseling or Counseling Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker professional counselor marriage and family therapist or psychologist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three months of hire.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological emotional and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
  • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
  • Possession of a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer skills including word processing spreadsheets email database management and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR MASTERS:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker preferred.
  • Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
