About the Role
As ourHR Generalist (Compliance) you will be the guardian of our workplace standards. You will not just be checking boxes; you will be building the framework that keeps our team safe fair and legally sound. You will act as the bridge between complex labor regulations and our day-to-day operations.
What Youll Do
- Ensure the company remains in 100% compliance with federal state and local labor laws (FLSA FMLA ADA EEO etc.).
- Assist with drafting updating and enforcing the Employee Handbook and standard operating procedures.
- Lead internal audits of personnel files I-9 documentation and payroll classifications to ensure we are always audit-ready.
- Manage EEO-1 reporting OSHA logs and other mandatory compliance filings.
- Assist with the review of compliance-related grievances and internal investigations.
What You Bring
- Experience:35 years in an HR Generalist or Compliance role.
- Integrity:Unshakeable ethics. You handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Attention to Detail:You notice the missing signature or the slightly outdated clause that everyone else misses.
- Education:Bachelors degree in HR Business or a related field. PHR SPHR or SHRM certification is a major plus.
- Values proactive problem-solving over reactive firefighting.
