Job Description:

  • Wealth Shared Services: Nationalback officesupport function serving all market-facing businesses across strategic editorial content business management business architecture wealth product analytics and reporting and operations.

  • Wealth Governance & Controls: National team advising and supporting the managementof the overall risk control and governance portfolio for TDWealth.

Job Description

Wealth Journey team is responsible for:

  • Owning the business delivery of target state capabilities and regulatory initiatives by closely collaborating with G&C operations business and technology partners

  • Continuously driving a simplified and optimized Wealth Operating Model

The Product Owner I is responsible to ensure that regulatory requirements are effectively converted into business requirements creating value for the organization through timely delivery that allows TD to reach compliance. This entails aligning with other Product Owners and senior management to follow a regulatory delivery roadmap creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog managing delivery blockers continuously assessing customer feedback.

The Product Owner I should always be considering how to maximize value assessing how the product or the delivery process can be continuously improved contributes to a positive work environment and ensures that work embodies the Agile principles of transparency collaboration and engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate within TDs Agile at Scale environment throughout feature intake and delivery

  • Ensure regulatory compliance of all accepted features and delivery by due data including identifying & mitigating risks

  • Support delivery of regulatory and strategic initiatives through alignment to regulatory change roadmap developing requirements and stakeholder management

  • Own feature risk documentation including facilitation with SMEs & representation at risk forums.

  • Lead change on regulatory features through partnering with Change Manager (when applicable) communication partners LoBs and project delivery partners.

  • Build effective relationships with internal business and technology stakeholders capable of collaborating and fostering relationships within cross-functional working groups

  • Deliver executive reporting including meaningful dataanalyses andinsights on the overall status ofReg PG features

  • Empowered to make product delivery decisions escalating to senior management as appropriate

  • Foster ateamenvironment and culture that encourages productivity innovationprocess improvement teamwork and a high level of professionalism.

Job Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Professional designation or MBApreferred

  • 7years of relevant industry experience

  • Agile delivery experience

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset

  • Challenges the status quo to constructively improve processes

  • Leads critical and complex change that includes continuous improvement

  • Leads the planning communication and short-term / long-term execution and ensure ongoing alignment with relevant stakeholders

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
