Job Summary
Summary/Objective
Anderson Ford Kingman is looking for an entry level file clerk. The file clerk plays a very important part of the daily operations of the dealership. The file clerk is responsible for the daily filing of sensitive documentation and car deals.
Essential Functions
- Filing paperwork and car deals (alphabetically and in numeric order) in an orderly and accessible manner
- Finding and retrieving documents when requested
- Updating and maintaining records
- Double checking paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Digitizing hard copies of documents and storing them in an electronic database
- Collecting documents from different departments and organizing them
- Developing an effective document storage and filing system
- Handling reconciliation of daily deposits
- Keeping a well-organized work area
- Monitoring/ Ordering supplies for each designated dealership
- Making copies and sending emails and/or faxes
- Sending out mail via FedEx or USPS
- Following policies and confidentially dictations to safeguard data and information

Required Education and Experience
- Valid drivers license.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Basic knowledge of the alphabet and mathematical skills.

- Ability to operate basic functions on computers such as email web browser Word etc..
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions/ requests

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Typical days and hours of work are set by the needs of the dealership.
Note: Schedules are subject to weeks notice of a schedule change will be provided whenever possible.
Travel: Occasional travel to various dealerships is required for new employee orientation and onboarding as well as other special projects.
