Job Description:

Examples of Work

Under direct supervision the Developer will:

• Assist senior developers while consulting with clients on Java React development projects.
• Use application development tools and utilities and appropriate. Write debug test and document programs in Java React.
• Perform the functional and technical design and implementation in a large-scale IT environment including consideration of existing automated systems with considerable supervision.
• Software development activities; including requirements gathering analysis functional and technical design construction and testing implementation and production support.
• Work closely with business analysts other technical analysts managers and business sponsors.

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Experience education or training in coding computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on small to medium sized projects. Associates degree or equivalent experience. Experience using Java Spring Boot REST API HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Other: Position is located on-site at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln. No hybrid/remote work.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Candidates must be service oriented have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that include working directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. Candidate must have strong technical organization planning problem-solving and decision-making skills.
