Civil Site Manager- Substation

Position: Civil Site Manager (Substation Projects)

Location: Qatar
Duration: 6 Months (26 Apr 2026 – 25 Oct 2026)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Manager to support and lead site management activities for substation construction projects. The role involves full responsibility for on-site execution coordination and delivery in line with project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee one or more construction sites with full accountability
• Plan and execute civil works for substation development projects
• Ensure compliance with Qatar construction standards and regulations
• Coordinate with contractors across civil MEP and electrical disciplines
• Resolve design-related issues in coordination with engineering teams
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality safety and progress
• Review and approve material submittals method statements and risk assessments
• Monitor project timelines and ensure achievement of milestones
• Maintain proper site documentation and reporting for client and consultant
• Issue and respond to formal communications related to project progress and delays
• Ensure strict adherence to health safety and quality standards
• Work under pressure and manage extended hours when required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience including at least 8 years in substation projects
  OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 12 years of experience including at least 10 years in substation projects
