Senior Technician Automation (Red Seal Millwright) Night Shift

License Required: Valid Red Seal Journeyman Millwright

About the Role

Were hiring a Senior Technician to support the reliability and performance of our automated materialhandling systems. This role offers great employee benefits and excellent worklife balance with a stable predictable schedule and no travel. Youll use your Red Seal Millwright expertise to troubleshoot repair and maintain automated equipment in a modern safetyfocused environment.

What Youll Do

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and automated equipment
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on rotating and conveyor systems
Diagnose rootcause issues independently and recommend improvements
Rebuild and repair gearboxes bearings and mechanical assemblies
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure parts availability
Work safely while coordinating repairs to minimize downtime

Basic Requirements

Valid Red Seal Journeyman Millwright license
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education/experience (P3 guideline)
2 years experience in industrial maintenance automation or millwright roles
Strong troubleshooting experience with mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and automated systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings and use maintenance software
Strong communication problemsolving and independent work skills

Preferred Experience

Experience with conveyors or automated distribution systems
Familiarity with equipment reliability or continuous improvement methods
Prior work in highautomation or fastpaced industrial environments

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Consistent nightshift schedule: SundayThursday 8:30 PM5:00 AM
Zero travel all work is performed onsite
Stable predictable hours supporting strong worklife balance
Walking bending climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs in an industrial environment
Must follow all safety procedures in a highly automated facility
