The Director ofMediaMarketingStrategy &Optimization will lead the development execution and continuous improvement of digitaland mediainitiatives across the Therapeutic Dermatology marketing. This role focuses onleveragingemerging technologies data-driven insights and innovative digital solutions tooptimizecustomer engagement enhance operational efficiency and support cross-functionalcommercialobjectives. The ideal candidate will have deepexpertisein digital transformation within the pharma/biotechsector strongcross-functional collaborationskillsand a proven ability to align digital strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and implement a comprehensivemedia anddigital strategy aligned with brand and corporateobjectives.

  • Drivemedia anddigital transformation initiatives acrossall marketing verticals (HCP P2P and DTC)

  • Identifyemerging trends (AI automation omnichannel personalization) and assess their impact on pharma operations

Optimization & Performance

  • Develop frameworks for measuringmedia anddigital performance and ROI.

  • Partnerwith analytics teams to interpret data andoptimizecampaigns for maximum impact.

  • Implement best practices for SEO content strategy and digital media optimization.

  • Lead the marketing mix evaluation and communication andidentifyrecommendations tooptimizeROI

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketingleads IT compliance and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Manageagencyrelationships and oversee digital platforms tools and technologies.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g.FDA NAD) in all digital initiatives.

Innovation & Customer Experience

  • Optimizeinitiatives to enhance HCP and patient engagement throughmedia anddigital channels.

  • Explore and integratenew technologiessuch as AI-driven insights chatbots and telehealth solutions.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvementacross the marketing team

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing BusinessMediaDigital Media or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 8 years inmedia and/ordigital strategy roles with at least 3 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Proventrack recordin digital transformation and optimization.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of pharma marketing regulations and compliance.

  • Expertisein analytics tools (Google Analytics Adobe Experience Manager) CRM and omnichannel platforms.

  • Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP or Agile certification

  • Digital Marketing certifications (Google HubSpot)

  • Familiarity with pharma compliance certifications

Position is commensurate with experience.

About the Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $225000 - $265000.

In addition to base salary we provide an opportunity to participate in an annual short-term incentive program that is based on corporate performance with a multiplier focused on individual performance.
