About This Role:
The Executive Assistant (EA)supportstwo executives: the VPforPharma CMC and Regulatoryand theVP for Biologics CMC Development & Regulatory.These leaders oversee global organizationscomprisedof both lab-based and office-based employeesoperatingacross time zones and within highly technical development environments.This roleplays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the leadership office. As a key member of the team you will manage complex calendars coordinate high-impact engagements and foster proactive communication across the organization. This role requires exceptional organizational skills discretion and the ability tooperateindependently in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate closely with the Strategy & Operations Lead to align priorities support leadership forums and drive strategic initiatives. Additionally you will act asa central pointof contact for stakeholders across Biogen and externally ensuring consistency and connectivity in enterprise-wide activities. The EA is instrumental in supporting thetwoVPs organizationalvision and the broader teams success making meaningful contributions to the business.

This is ahybrid-basedroleat our Headquarters in Cambridge MArequiringregular office presence.

WhatYoullDo:

  • Manage the VPscomplex globalcalendars prioritizing internal and external engagements tooptimizeleadership effectiveness.

  • Prepare and executePharma and BiologicsLeadership Team meetings governance forums and employee engagement events includinglogistics agendas and follow-up actions.

  • Partner in the planning and execution of in-person leadership strategic sessions including venue coordination agendalogistics materials preparation participant communications and follow-up actions.

  • Draft review and manage executive communications ensuringtimelycorrespondence and effective briefings.

  • Coordinate detailed domestic and international travel plans and process expense reports in compliance with company policies.

  • Maintain organizational documents including org charts distribution lists and SharePoint sites while supporting onboarding efforts for new leaders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams tofacilitateworkflows andalign onpriorities.

  • Work closely with other Executive Assistants across Biogen to ensure alignment and consistency in scheduling communications and major events.

  • Monitor and triage emails ensuring critical matters are prioritized and addressed effectively.

  • Support strategic initiatives and foster connectivity across thePharma and Biologicsteamsandthebroader organization.

  • Anticipate needs and proactively address challenges tomaintainsmooth operations.

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of3years of experience(minimum of 7 preferred)supporting senior executives in fast-paced high-visibility environments preferably within life sciences operations or technical functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and work effectively with multiple executive stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities andanticipateneeds.

  • Experience coordinating enterprise-wide governance processes and major organizational events.

  • High levelof discretion and ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook PowerPoint Excel Teams) Concur Zoom and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills capable of drafting professional correspondence and executive-ready materials.

  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster collaboration across diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Familiarity with life sciences or technical operations to understand business priorities.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $88000.00-$114000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including but not limited to relevant skills & experience job location and internal equity.
