Surgical Technologist Labor & Delivery
Brigham and Womens Hospital
Join one of the nations leading Labor & Delivery teams supporting more than 6000 births each year in a fast-paced high-acuity surgical environment.
At BWH Surgical Techs are key members of the OB surgical team assisting with:
Cesarean sections
Emergency C-sections
Postpartum hemorrhage procedures
D&C procedures
Tubal ligations
Complex maternal-fetal surgeries
Youll work alongside OB surgeons anesthesia NICU nursing and physician teams in a collaborative academic medical center known for advanced maternal care.

What Youll Do
Prepare sterile surgical fields
Set up OB operating rooms
Assist during procedures
Perform instrument and sponge counts
Support emergency surgical response teams

Qualifications

• CST Certification preferred
• 2 years Surgical Tech experience preferred
• Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Certifications

• BLS preferred
• CST NBSTSA required
