Description of Work
The Deputy Infrastructure Director serves as the second-in-command to the Infrastructure Director and plays a critical leadership role in managing IT service delivery across 13 state-operated healthcare facilities. This position directly oversees the Help desk and Desktop Support managers ensuring high-quality end-user support incident resolution and endpoint readiness including EHR-related systems such as Epic. The Deputy Infrastructure Director contributes to strategic planning operational oversight team development and IT service performance monitoring supporting the continuity and efficiency of patient care and administrative services.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade Range: $105341.00 - $184345.00
Recruitment Range: $105341.00 - $139446.00

Physical Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift carry push or pull or otherwise move objects including the subjects own body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met.

About the NCDHHS Information Technology Division
In collaboration with our partners the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) protects the health and safety of all North Carolinians and provides essential health and human services. The IT division (ITD) is one of the divisions that report to the Operational Excellence portfolio.
