Job Description:

As the first engineering hire at Kip you will build the Personal CFO for younger generations. You will architect AI-native systems that automate complex wealth management from tax optimization engines to life-event simulators. Working directly with a Stanford/IIT-educated CTO you will transform fragmented financial data into actionable hyper-personalized wealth-building moves.

What you will do:

• Design and implement secure SOC 2-compliant data pipelines that aggregate and structure complex financial documents using bank-grade encryption.

• Build a high-fidelity life event simulator and tax optimization engine that models hundreds of financial scenarios to deliver hyper-personalized strategies.

• Develop and deploy autonomous AI agents that monitor financial goals in the background and execute proactive wealth-building moves for users.

The ideal candidate:

• 2 years of experience building and debugging production-grade systems with a proven track record of shipping software from scratch to users.

• Native fluency in AI-first workflows utilizing LLMs to accelerate development and building products where AI is the core engine not an add-on.

• Strong systems thinker with an ownership mentality who is comfortable navigating the ambiguity and fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup.
