Make a Meaningful Impact

Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate experiencedPhysician (PRN)to support our hospice and palliative care this role youll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care focused on comfort dignity and quality of life.

What Youll Do

• Provide physician services across hospice and palliative care settings (inpatient outpatient and home/facility visits)
• Collaborate with attending physicians and care teams ongoals of care pain management and symptom control
• Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and contribute to care planning
• Review patient referrals to assess diagnosis prognosis and eligibility
• Support admissions discharges and transitions between palliative and hospice care
• Serve as a clinical resource and liaison to physicians hospitals and community partners
• Participate in on-call rotation (evenings/weekends) and provide after-hours support as needed
• Step in for Medical Director responsibilities when designated

What Were Looking For

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (hospice palliative care internal medicine family medicine oncology or related field)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Internal Medicine Family Medicine or Hospice & Palliative Medicine)
• Active Colorado Physician License
• Current CPR certification
• Valid drivers license auto insurance and ability to travel locally

Compensation & Perks

• Competitive hourly rate: $107.00 $121.00/hour
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.625/mile (one of the highest in the industry)
