Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate experiencedPhysician (PRN)to support our hospice and palliative care this role youll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care focused on comfort dignity and quality of life.
What Youll Do
Provide physician services across hospice and palliative care settings (inpatient outpatient and home/facility visits)
Collaborate with attending physicians and care teams ongoals of care pain management and symptom control
Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and contribute to care planning
Review patient referrals to assess diagnosis prognosis and eligibility
Support admissions discharges and transitions between palliative and hospice care
Serve as a clinical resource and liaison to physicians hospitals and community partners
Participate in on-call rotation (evenings/weekends) and provide after-hours support as needed
Step in for Medical Director responsibilities when designated
What Were Looking For
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (hospice palliative care internal medicine family medicine oncology or related field)
Board Certified or Board Eligible (Internal Medicine Family Medicine or Hospice & Palliative Medicine)
Active Colorado Physician License
Current CPR certification
Valid drivers license auto insurance and ability to travel locally
Compensation & Perks
Competitive hourly rate: $107.00 $121.00/hour
Mileage reimbursement: $0.625/mile (one of the highest in the industry)
