This is a pivotal moment to join CGI. As Canadas largest independent IT and business consulting services firm we continue to grow - and so does our impact within the credit union sector.
Were looking for a Director Business Consulting to lead and expand our Services to Credit Unions (SCU) practice. This is a highly visible leadership tole where youll shape client strategy drive transformation initiatives and build long-term partnerships across the credit union ecosystem.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Lead High-Impact Client Engagements
. Oversee the successful delivery of consulting engagements ensuring quality value and client satisfaction
. Act as trusted advisor Engagement Manager on key initiatives
. Apply CGIs project and delivery frameworks (e.g. CPMF) to drive consistent execution
. Step into delivery when needed to support critical client outcomes
Grow Strategic Client Relationships
. Build and nurture executive-level relationships with assigned clients
. Identify shape and close new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
. Lead account planning and develop growth strategies aligned to client priorities
. Position CGI as a long-term strategic partner in digital operational and business consulting
Build & Lead a High Performing Team
. Lead mentor and grow a team of consultants and CGI Partners
. Support recruitment and workforce planning to align with market demand
. Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous development
. Coach partners on their learning and development plans including AI and other new tools and systems
Drive Business Performance
. Own financial performance including revenue growth profitability and utilization
. Monitor key performance indicators and take action to optimize results
. Ensure operational excellence across your portfolio
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Degree in Business or related field
. MBA or advanced degree is an asset
. Over 4 years of experience leading teams in a client-facing environment
. Strong background in financial services with experience in credit unions a major asset
. Demonstrated success in business development account growth and client relationship management
. Solid expertise in program delivery governance and engagement management
. Strong financial and operational acumen with ownership of revenue targets
. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills including executive-level influence
. Ability to balance delivery sales and people leadership in a fast-paced environment
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100000$190000. This role is a future opportunity.
