Financial Accountant

Job Summary

This is an entry level role that supports core accounting operations including monthâend and year-end close journal entries reconciliations financial reporting and revenue and lease accounting while assisting with audits and providing cross functional support

Qualifications - Required

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field

• 1-2 years public/private general accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
• Demonstrated appropriate experience including communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Extensive organizational skills including the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Qualifications Preferred

• CPA Certification
• Prior SAP experience
• Experience with OneStream
• Experience with AI/automation

Duties

• Execute daily weekly and monthly accounting activities to ensure timely workflow and recording of financial transactions

• Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements
• Perform activities related to the monthly closing process including preparing journal entries and completing accrual and reserve calculations
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations as required by company accounting policies
• Complete external financial statement audit requests
• Complete quarterly and annual governmental surveys
• Perform ad hoc analysis and other tasks in support of the finance team including FP&A Treasury Tax Property Accounting and Operations Accounting as required

Competitive Salary with a general salary range of $80784.00 to $85000.00 or higher depending on education and experience.
