Purpose
The Pearson English Language Learning Sales Representative is afield-based hunter-style rolefocused on driving revenue growth expanding market share and increasing adoption of Pearsons digital ELL solutions. You will uncover new opportunitiesacquireand develop new accounts and grow long-term partnerships by positioning Pearson as a trusted strategic partner.
This role is ideal for ahighly motivated goal-driven sales professionalwho thrives in fast-paced environments enjoys prospecting and relationship-building and is comfortable working toward ambitious growth targets. You bring curiosity resilience and a customer-first mindset using strong discovery skills and portfolio knowledge to solve real instructional challenges and improve learner outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
Success in this role is measured by your ability to:
- Consistently achieve or exceed territory revenue and growth targetsby offering course-based solutions todecision makers thereby gaining market share.
- Identifyacquire and develop new accounts to expand Pearsons ELLfootprint.
- Drive adoption of digital& printsolutions that improve outcomes access and affordability.
- Grow andretainkey accounts through strategic relationship management.
- Maintain& deliveraccurateforecasting pipeline management and territory planning in Salesforce (OneCRM).
- Execute corporate and regional sales initiatives withmeasurableimpact.
- Share market insights and best practices to support team and regional success.
- Establish yourself as a trusted growth-focusedsalesadvisor to customers.
The Role
This is a remote/home-based position with approximately 65% travel including but not limited to visits to local college and university campuses private language schools community-based organizations conferences and national meetings. Please note that we do not offer relocation packages for this position. Theidealcandidate should be based within the stateof MassachusettsorConnecticut.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Use a mix of in-person and virtual outreach to engage 15 faculty members or decision-makers daily.
- Proactively prospect and pursue new business opportunities with a hunter mindset.
- Strategically plan and manage territory and accounts to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Present sell and negotiate Pearsons digital English Language Learning solutions in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
- Deliver product demonstrations onboarding and training to support long-term customer adoption.
- Manage pipeline forecasting and activity tracking using Salesforce (OneCRM)
- Stay current on Pearson products platforms and trends in the English Language Learning market.
- Build andmaintainstrong relationships withteachers administrators and bookstore partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionallywith Customer Success product specialists marketing and sales leadership.
- Execute national and regional sales initiatives within your local market.
- Contribute to a collaborative high-performing sales culture through knowledge sharing and best practices.

Qualifications
To embark on this journey you should bring:
- A bachelorsdegree or equivalentcombination of education and successfulwork experience.
- Minimum 2 years ofoutstandingsales experience in adult education higher education or a related market.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office tools computer applicationsCRMand businesssystems and mobile technologies.
- Willingness to travel 3-4 days per weekand attend regional andnational conferences and events.
- Reside in thestateofMassachusettsorConnecticut.
- Valid drivers license.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set experience and location.
The full-time salary range for this role is $65000 $70000.
