Position Summary:
Oscar Mayer is one of Americas most recognizable brands143 years strong in more than half of U.S. households and driving $2.7B in retail sales. This role is for a modern brand steward and creative catalyst: someone who can protectwhatsiconic evolvewhatsnext and turn cultural energy into business impact.
Reporting to the VP Meats Platform the Director Brand Communications leads the communication strategy and creative output across the Oscar Mayer portfoliobringing together best-in-class agency partners and internal stakeholders to build work that people talk about share and buy.
Youllalso oversee one of the most legendary brand platforms in America:theWienermobile program12 Hotdoggers 6 Wienermobiles and billions of PR impressionsevolving it from beloved ambassador into a true experiential and cultural engine.

WhatYoullOwn & Drive
Brand Communications Leadership (Strategy Creative Execution)
Set the communications strategy across categories (cold cuts bacon hot dogs) ensuring every message and moment ladders to brand strategy and businessobjectives.
Lead creative development end-to-endfrom briefing through production launch and performance learningacross paid owned earned social and integrated campaigns.
Build a high-performing ecosystem of partners (creative social PR media experiential) driving alignment momentum and exceptional output.
Media & Effectiveness (Creativity with Accountability)
Partner with the internal media team and media agency to shape data-informed media plansleveraginginsights best practices and Commercial Marketing Mix learnings to amplify creative impact and efficiency.
Ensurethe workdoesntjust winattentionit delivers measurable brand and business results.
Wienermobile Experiential Growth
Oversee the Wienermobile program and teammaintainingexcellence while expanding its ambition.
Evolve the Wienermobile from iconic PR machine (4B local impressions annually) into a bigger experiential platformone that creates culture earns relevance and builds brand love at scale.
Lead thestrategy and execution of theannual Wienie 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedwayto deliver a culturally relevant PR-driving fan first experience
Building the Oscarverse
Continue developing the Oscarverse brand worldcreating a cohesive ownable universe across touchpoints.
Depending on experience serve as a brandleadfor package design strategy and creative development.
Agency Leadership & Creative Standards
Run agency briefings that inspire great thinking and set a high bar for insight clarity and creative ambitionand coach teams on agency management and on delivering feedback that is actionable brave and craft-forward.
Continuously assess agency mix scope and senior talentrecommending changes to strengthen capabilities and performance.
Team Leadership & Culture
Lead coach and develop direct reports and broader teammembersbuilding a culture where creativity thrives and accountability is clear.
Model resilience and decisiveness in a fast-moving environment where multiple initiatives move inparalleland opportunitiesemergequickly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
13 years in marketing for a CPG company oragencyexperience
Proven ability tothink big pictureanddefine the destination while still managing day-to-day details
Track recordof drivingcreativity thatdrives business impact
Modelsresiliencein a dynamic fast paced work environment where ideas and opportunities happen fast and require flexibility through simultaneous project management
Strong communication influence and relationship building skills and creativity
Experience in cross-functional team management both internally and externally to inspire change
Experience managing a team coupled with a passion forteam development & culturebuilding
Preferred: Brand side experience particularly in fast-moving consumer goods
Nice to have: Experiential marketing

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$190300.00 - $237900.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): In addition to base salary and bonus this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.
