Learn more at DirectorOttavaManufacturing SiteLeaderprovides strategic operational and technical leadership for one or more manufacturing plantsin support of the OTTAVA Surgical Robotic Platform. This role is accountable for daily operationslong termplanning talent development and driving transformational initiatives that elevate safety quality productivity and scalability across the site. The role includes scaling production from pilot to stable highvolume output whilemaintainingquality.

This leader integrates strategic planning change management and deep technicalexpertisein capital equipment manufacturing to guide teams through evolving business needs and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of plant operations to meet quality safetyoutputand cost targets.
• Develop and execute site level strategic plans aligned with broader supply chain goals.
• Apply strong technical expertise inmanufacturing ofcapital systems to guide problem solving and process improvements.
• Drive change management efforts to implementnew technologies processes and organizational strategies.
• Standardize andoptimizemanufacturing processes to improve performance and and develop managers and senior staff fostering a culture of accountability inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to advance initiatives and strengthen organizational visibility.
• Manage budgets compliance workforce planning and performance metrics across the site.

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations ManagementBusinessor related field.
• 10years experiencein technical manufacturingoperations with at least 5 years experience in a leadership position.
• Priorcomplexcapital equipmentmanufacturingexperience.
• Exceptional ability tobuildleadand develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced matrix environment.
• Strong strategic thinking problem-solving and decision-making skillsin a high-stakes environment.
• Strategic change management evolving the org structure with volume growth.
• Proactive risk management (supplier capacity quality long lead inventory technical risks) and navigating escalations.
• Culture building by modeling transparency accountability continuous improvement and quality mindset.

Preferred:

• Experience with Medical Capital Equipment Manufacturingand regulatory compliance.
• Experiencebuildinglaunchingandrelocatingmanufacturing lines and/or factories.
• Masters degree in engineering Operations ManagementBusinessor related field.

Other:

• May require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel
