Job description

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Create content (articles infographics diagrams presentation slides) based on input from researchers analysts or supervisor.
• Translate complex cybersecurity topics into clear engaging and audience-appropriate content for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor current events and trends in the field of IT security with a focus on threats and cyber-attacks.
• Identify relevant trends threats scams or campaigns that can be turned into communication awareness or PR opportunities.
• Maintain contact with the Malware Researchers at ESET HQ monitor their work in order to identify PR opportunities.
• Present IT security topics selected by the supervisor.
• Coordinate content publishing with PR teams.
• Participate in webinars virtual sessions customer presentations and other speaking engagements on cybersecurity topics.
• Support media and PR activities by providing technical input reviewing messaging and participating in interviews or press opportunities when required.
• Collaborate with PR Marketing Sales and other internal teams to align communication priorities and support external visibility initiatives.
• Represent the ESET company by participating in activities and projects aimed at expanding and building awareness of information security according to the supervisors instructions.
• Represent the company in external events awareness initiatives customer-facing activities and other public engagements related to cybersecurity education and thought leadership.
• Perform conceptual systemic creative and methodical activities.
• Carry out other work according to the instructions of a managing employee in accordance with the activity of the department and the company.
