Candidates must hold a bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related discipline with a strong emphasis on transportation. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required with the expectation of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 12 months or already possessing a North Dakota PE license. Relevant experience of 3-6 years in transportation or civil engineering design and consulting is crucial as is proficiency in design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication collaboration and problem-solving abilities enabling them to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
