• Prep surfaces thoroughly (sanding cleaning masking filling imperfections) to ensure a smooth durable finish
• Prime paint and finish kitchen cabinets doors drawer fronts trim and related woodwork using high-quality products and techniques
• Handle occasional interior house painting (walls ceilings trim) as needed on remodeling jobs
• Follow Kitchen Tune-Ups 5 Trustpoints on every project to deliver consistent exceptional results
• Arrive on time work efficiently and communicate daily progress with the project manager
• Keep the work area clean organized and safeclean up thoroughly at the end of each day
• Protect client homes (cover floors counters appliances etc.) and interact professionally and friendly with customers
• Safely use painting tools/equipment (sprayers brushes rollers sanders etc.)

• Stellar work ethic and reliabilityshow up on time and ready to work every day
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely
• Proven experience in cabinet painting fine finish work or high-end residential painting
• Ability to prep and paint for a factory-like long-lasting finish (experience with cabinet-specific paints/coatings a big plus)
• Comfortable working in occupied homes with professionalism and respect for clients spaces
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas
• Ability to safely lift/move materials and work on your feet for extended periods

• Experience in kitchen or bath remodeling (e.g. basic trim carpentry minor repairs installing hardware/roll-outs drywall patching or other finish work)
• Familiarity with spray painting systems for cabinets
• Knowledge of color matching stains or specialty finishes
• Previous work in cabinet refacing redooring or restoration projects
