Job Summary
We are seeking a suitably qualified experienced and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as Compliance and Risk Officer (12-month Parental Leave Replacement). This position supports the Principals Office and is based at our St Pauls Campus (SPC) Altona North.

Emmanuel College is vastly increasing in student numbers. We are a two campus College our St Pauls single sex boys Campus located in Altona North and our co-educational campus located in Point Cook.

Compliance and Risk Officer
Emmanuel College is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance and Risk Officer to support the Colleges governance compliance and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage compliance systems including policy risk and visitor management platforms.
- Support Child Safe practices and oversee compliance for camps retreats and events.
- Maintain College policies staff documentation and compliance records.
- Coordinate VRQA OHS and contractor compliance requirements.
- Oversee staff compliance training (Child Safe Mandatory Reporting OHS First Aid Fire Training).
- Support staff inductions VET contracts and pre-service teacher placements.
- Provide administrative and event support to the Principals Office.
About You
- Relevant qualifications in Risk HR or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards OHS Privacy and school compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
- Commitment to Catholic education.
Desirable
- Experience in a school environment.
- Understanding of Catholic school ethos.

Salary:
The Complinace and Risk Officer salary and conditions are in accordance with theEducation Support Employee - Category Bscale under the applicable Catholic Education Agreement
