Job Summary

Job Title : Process Design Lead - Flare & Relief

Experience : 10-13 Years

Location : Bengaluru

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in fire and relief systems for safe operations
  • Perform analysis of plant operations and overpressure scenarios
  • Utilize tools like Pro II HYSYS FlareSim iPRSM for simulations
  • Support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities (PHA LOPA)
  • Conduct Management of Change (MOC) evaluations
  • Participate in process safety and safeguard assurance teams
  • Act as SME in risk assessments and safety studies
  • Support process design and operational safety improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Support global projects and travel as required

Requisites

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with flare & relief system design and analysis
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools (HYSYS Pro II FlareSim iPRSM)
  • Understanding of overpressure protection systems
  • Knowledge of PSM concepts (PHA LOPA MOC)
  • Experience in complex / LNG / offshore process facilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams
  • Good communication and technical reporting skills
