Job Title: Procurement SPE / SME / Team Lead
Role Overview
We are looking for dynamic procurement professionals to manage end-to-end procurement operations vendor coordination and supply chain activities while ensuring adherence to timelines cost efficiency and service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) to vendors and follow-up for order confirmations
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery; expedite orders as per business requirements
- Manage shipment approvals logistics coordination and track shipment status
- Maintain and update shortage reports based on supplier commitments
- Execute core procurement processes efficiently for assigned products
- Meet defined service levels and inventory targets using procurement metrics
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (requestors) and suppliers for PO changes
- Select suppliers in line with approved sourcing and purchasing strategies
- Maintain and manage supplier database
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process efficiencies
- Perform root cause analysis for delays/issues and ensure timely resolution
- Prepare and analyze customized procurement and performance reports
- Manage shortage escalations urgent deliveries backlog tracking and receiving challenges
Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Engineering Degree OR
- Postgraduate Degree in Supply Chain Management / Operations / Logistics
Experience Required
- Senior Process Executive (SPE): 24 Years
- Subject Matter Expert (SME): 46 Years
- Team Lead: 7 Years (with on-paper team handling experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Order Processing Procurement Supply Chain or Order Management
- Hands-on experience with ERP/P2P systems such as Ariba SAP Oracle Kinaxis Pulse
- Knowledge of SAP is highly preferred
- Exposure to Manufacturing industry (Automotive preferred)
- Understanding of Global Incoterms and handling Air/Sea shipments
- Knowledge of Engineering BOMs Product Structure EOL and ECO Management
- Familiarity with planning cycles: MPS MRP Demand Planning Material & Production Planning
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) across all organizational levels
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
