Job Summary

At STRI we are hiring for our client who are a Professional Cosmetic Manufacturer.

Location0 Chennai

We are looking for a highly driven Channel Development Executive to build and expand our presence across Salons and Beauty Academies in Tamil Nadu. This role is focused on driving product adoption increasing sales and establishing a strong sales network from the ground up.

This role will be responsible for owning the Tamil Nadu market aggressively driving channel expansion and converting opportunities into sustained & scalable revenue stream.



Key Responsibilities:

Channel Expansion & Market Development

  • Identify onboard and develop new Salon and Academy partners across Tamil Nadu
  • Build the channel from scratch by mapping key cities clusters and potential accounts
  • Establish strong relationships with salon owners academy heads and key decision-makers
  • Establish Key Performance & Indicator Metrics to measure and monitor channel growth


Sales Growth & Revenue Generation

  • Drive consistent sales growth through both direct sales and distributor-led channels
  • Ensure partners actively stock and regularly reorder products
  • Increase product penetration visibility and usage within partner outlets


Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong long-term relationships with key accounts
  • Act as a single point of contact for partner queries support and growth
  • Regularly visit accounts to ensure engagement and satisfaction


Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activity pricing and schemes in the market
  • Provide regular feedback on customer preferences and product performance
  • Share insights to improve product offerings and sales strategy


Organizing Training & Product Adoption

  • Organize product demonstrations workshops and training sessions
  • Educate salon professionals and students on product usage and benefits
  • Drive trials to convert into consistent product usage and repeat orders



Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in beauty/cosmetics/B2B sales (Salon or Professional segment preferred)
  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven target-oriented and comfortable with extensive travel
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced growth-focused environment
  • Strong network within salons or beauty academies in Tamil Nadu is a plus



Required Skills:

Graduate or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 0 to 4 years experience working in a retail environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
