Job Summary
Job Title: Crushing Plant Operator
Job Overview
We are hiring experienced Crushing Plant Operators for a reputed quarry operation in Greece. The candidate will be responsible for operating monitoring and maintaining crushing and screening equipment to ensure efficient production of aggregates such as gravel sand and crushed stone while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations
- Operate and monitor crushing and screening equipment (jaw crushers cone crushers impact crushers screens conveyors)
- Start-up and shutdown of plant equipment safely
- Maintain continuous material flow for efficient production
- Adjust crusher settings (CSS feed rate screen size) as per production requirements
2. Process Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor production output material size and quality
- Prevent overloading blockages and uneven feeding
- Coordinate with loader/excavator operators for smooth operations
3. Equipment Inspection
- Check for abnormal noise vibration and wear & tear
- Identify hopper blockages belt misalignment and screen issues
- Monitor plant via SCADA systems or manual inspection
4. Maintenance Support
- Perform basic maintenance (cleaning lubrication)
- Assist in replacing liners jaws and screen meshes
- Report faults and support maintenance team during repairs
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow PPE LOTO and plant safety procedures
- Identify risks related to dust moving equipment and material discharge
- Ensure safe plant operations at all times
6. Quality Control
- Ensure aggregates meet required grading specifications
- Coordinate with quality/lab teams for sampling and adjustments
7. Reporting
- Maintain production logs (output downtime issues)
- Report shift performance and incidents
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- ITI / Diploma / Any Technical Qualification (Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 3years of experience in crushing plant / quarry / mining operations
Required Skills
- Knowledge of crushing processes (primary secondary tertiary)
- Experience with jaw cone and impact crushers
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with aggregate grading and plant operations
- Knowledge of SCADA/control systems (preferred)
Required Skills:
