- Assist in the design drafting and documentation of electrical systems including power distribution lighting grounding and control circuits using CAD and other engineering software.
- Support the preparation of technical specifications bills of materials (BOM) and electrical schematics in compliance with national and international standards (e.g. IEEE IS IEC).
- Conduct site inspections and field assessments to verify installation accuracy troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure adherence to design and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers contractors and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into larger systems.
- Assist in the testing commissioning and handover of electrical installations including coordination with testing agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical system performance maintenance logs and as-built documentation.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies industry regulations and best practices in electrical engineering.
- Contribute to safety audits risk assessments and compliance checks related to electrical installations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./) from a recognized university; freshers with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical ETAP or similar software.
- Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards (IS IEC NEC) and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a proactive approach to learning and task execution.
- Willingness to work on-site travel to project locations and adapt to dynamic work environments.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings schematics and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with power systems motors transformers switchgear and protective devices is a plus.
