Job Summary
- Assist in the design analysis and testing of mechanical components and systems using CAD software and engineering principles.
- Support project teams in the preparation of technical drawings specifications and documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and field evaluations to assess mechanical system performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards quality protocols and regulatory requirements during all phases of project execution.
- Participate in the procurement process by evaluating vendor proposals and technical submissions.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress test results and maintenance activities.
- Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance schedules and operational manuals.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Strong foundational knowledge of thermodynamics fluid mechanics strength of materials and machine design.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Familiarity with engineering standards (ISO ASME etc.) and project documentation practices.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project demands.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
