Job Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Assistantship: Working directly with the Video Head to define and execute the daily Hindi content roadmap.
Story Architecting: Driving selection for breaking news and explainers focusing on unexplored angles that drive high engagement.
Packaging Excellence: Improving video CTR and VTR through high-impact thumbnails sharp titles and compelling "first-10-second" hooks.
Full-Stack Production: Writing producing and anchoring long-format stories and deep-dive explainers.
YouTube Monetization: Implementing growth strategies to expand reach and optimize revenue within the YouTube ecosystem.
Real-Time Governance: Managing the video desk during high-pressure breaking news situations to ensure speed and accuracy.
Requirements
The Newsroom Veteran: 78 years of experience in a Digital/Newsroom environment with a deep understanding of the Hindi-speaking market.
The "Hook" Master: Proven ability to write headlines and design thumbnails that stop the scroll and drive clicks.
YouTube Specialist: Comprehensive knowledge of YouTubes algorithm audience retention metrics and monetization policies.
Versatile Creator: Comfortable being both behind the scenes (producing/writing) and in front of the camera (anchoring).
The Noida Native: Ability to work from the Noida office in a fast-paced shift-based environment.
