Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and financial due diligence on business loan applications.
Evaluate business financial statements cash flow projections and credit history to assess risk exposure.
Collaborate with relationship managers and sales teams to gather necessary documentation and clarify business operations.
Develop and present underwriting recommendations to senior management and credit committees.
Ensure all lending decisions comply with internal policies regulatory standards and risk management frameworks.
Monitor and report on portfolio performance delinquency trends and risk concentrations.
Stay updated on market trends economic indicators and industry-specific risks affecting business clients.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field.
25 years of experience in business underwriting credit analysis or a similar financial role within a banking or financial institution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial modeling and ratio analysis.
In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment loan structuring and lending policies.
Proficiency in MS Excel financial reporting tools and CRM systems.
Excellent attention to detail time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with RBI guidelines and other regulatory frameworks relevant to business lending.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables formulas charts). Excellent presentation skills using PowerPoint. Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Time and Motion Study Process Qualification - MBA in Analytics/Operation or related field
