Responsibilities:

• Provides project management on large scale complex high profile and high risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.
  
• Ensures project deliverables meet clients business requirements on time scope and budget with a focus on cost-effectiveness efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks.
  

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager directly responsible for leading all aspects of large complex Application Development initiatives
  
• Demonstrated hands on experience leading and managing agile projects preferably following Scrum methodology
  
• Advanced knowledge of project management principles methods and techniques
  
• Demonstrated experience successfully managing OPS governance Cluster and Corporate governance approval processes such as project gating architecture governance points digital first assessment
  
• Experience managing privacy and security deliverables
  
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Agile development concepts and methodologies
  
• Experience leading technical teams
  
• Experience running scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups sprint planning sprint reviews retrospectives
  
• Demonstrated experience managing external and internal stakeholders and project interdependencies
  
• Strong technical and business aptitude
  
• Persistent attention to detail
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (clear & concise)
  
• Self-motivated leader with strong interpersonal skills
  
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Project Microsoft Office and Visio and Planview
  
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver within extremely tight deadlines
  
• Project rescue/project triage experience is an asset
  
• Previous government experience is an asset
  

Skill Set Requirements:

Agile Project Management Experience:

• 10 years demonstrated hands-on Project Management experience managing large complex application development projects
  
• 7 years demonstrated experience managing agile/iterative/scrum projects
  
• 7 years facilitating and leading ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint reviews planning backlog refinement retrospectives and customer journey/story mapping
  
• Demonstrated experience using issue management tools such as Jira to manage backlogs and sprints
  
• Experience creating and managing project schedules project plans issue/risk logs status reports and other project management artefacts
  
• Experience managing project resources by aligning skills/experience to project tasks
  
• 3 years experience multiple complex Siebel Public Sector project concurrently
  
• Experience planning and managing OPS project gating architecture and governance checkpoints/requirements
  

Leadership Facilitation and Communication Skills:

• Demonstrated experience leading project teams facilitating interactions with clients and among the project team especially in complex multi-stakeholder environments
  
• Excellent verbal and written skills
  
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver within extremely tight and/or aggressive project timelines
  
• Strong communication skills to present complex or technical details to business clients
  
• Strong negotiation consensus building and ability to manage/facilitate difficult conversations with team members clients and/or executives
  

Technical Skills:

• 5 years demonstrated experience managing technical resources and tasks involving solution development (design coding configuration) data migration testing platform upgrades/patching maintenance/support integration
  
• Understanding of key phases and tasks of a Siebel based project
  
• Understanding of Oracle products/services with an emphasis on Siebel Public Sector
  
• Advanced Microsoft Project Office (Word Excel Powerpoint) Visio
